This project is made possible, in part, through the Diversifying Art Museum Leadership Initiative (DAMLI), funded by the Walton Family Foundation and the Ford Foundation. The DAMLI Curatorial Fellow at PAMM will participate in public program development related to our exhibitions and work with Chief Curator Tobias Ostrander and Deputy Director for Education Adrienne Chadwick with the direction of Director Franklin Sirmans. The Fellow will work with PAMM’s curatorial and education staff in all phases of public program development, symposiums, timed-based art exhibition development, and community outreach and audience research/evaluations.
- The Fellow will work on at least two major projects at PAMM over the 2 year period.
- The Fellow will generate at least 4 written pieces for curatorial / education to use.
- The Fellow will initiate at least two new community partnerships in pursuit of deeper community engagement in exhibitions, programs and/or collections.
