Blog: Laurel Halo is Bringing Her Abstracted Club Rhythms to PAMM's Third Thursdays Music Series

Every third Thursday of the month, PAMM brings together an eclectic range of internationally-acclaimed DJs and musicians for an outdoor music series on the terrace by the bay. This month PAMM Presents recording artist and live performer, Laurel Halo, from Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Taking influence from her Midwest roots, Halo has developed a singular sound, combining hardware pulse, ambiance and intricate sampling to address themes of physical process and virtual violence. In a live context, Halo’s music is centered around abstracted club rhythms and atmospheric overdrive, and has lit venues across North America and Europe.

Halo has been featured on sites such as The New York Times, NPR and Resident Advisor
