Blog: PAMM Broadens its Reach in Jamaica

Associate Curator Diana Nawi and Knight Curator of School Programs Mari Robles visited Kingston, Jamaica to meet with curators, artists and thinkers. They gave a public talk at NLS Kingston about the upcoming Caribbean exhibitions and programs.

Nawi and Robles also conducted studio visits with artists Camille Chedda, Phillip Thomas, Oneika Russell, Leasho Johnson, Rodell Warner, Marlon James and Deb Anzinger.

NLS is an artist-run contemporary visual art initiative in Kingston that is a non-profit subsidiary of the audio recording studio and production house Creative Sounds Ltd. NLS was founded as a place for visual artists who are making work in dialogue with contemporary issues to experiment with new ideas, collaborate with each other and engage with the public.
