Blog: PAMM Free Second Saturdays: Gradient Portraits

On February 10, 2018, in honor of Black History Month, guests joined us for art-making inspired by artist, Lynette Yiadom-Boakye. Using scratch paper, participants were able to carve their own layered portrait by combining memory and color. Winds of Heritage Dance Company also stopped by and and presented “Colors”, choreographed by Eulyce Eason, co-artistic director for WOH. The day also saw another installment of “Miami Stories,” a partnership between PAMM, HistoryMiami and WLRN.
