The International Kinetic Art Exhibit and Symposium, February 3–5, is a FREE biennial event in Boynton Beach, FL. Art and technology collide to create kinetic art, which is fine art powered by solar, wind, light, sound, robotics, water, gravity and other elements. This one-of-a-kind visual art event includes more than 75 kinetic artworks, interactive installations, community projects, meet-and-greets with kinetic artists and a lecture series.
PAMM’s International Committee, an affiliate group that raises funds to support exhibitions at the museum of female artists, hosted a design conversation between Miami-based jewelry designer and gemologist Soledad Lowe and Roberto Cavalli’s Atelier team.
On Thursday, November 3, 2016, Pérez Art Museum Miami kicked off its celebration for the opening of Ulla von Brandenburg: It Has a Golden Sun and an Elderly Grey Moon with a private dinner in honor of the artist Soho Beach House hosted by Chloé. Guests enjoyed a reception with delectable hors d'oeuvres and specialty cocktails, followed by an intimate dinner in the rooftop penthouse under the stars.
On Saturday, October 29, 2016, Pérez Art Museum Miami Museum Circle members enjoyed an ARTrek through Little River. Members began their morning with a visit to the studio of artist Aramis Gutierrez, followed by a visit to IRL Institute, where they were treated to a tour of the space with artists and owners Sergio Vega, Eddie Negro and Marla Rosen. The ARTrek concluded at Mindy Solomon Gallery, where the Korean ceramics currently on view proved to be a favorite of the guests.
