PAMM hosts a summer block party at Third Thursdays: Poplife Social ft. Peachfuzz

On August 17, 2017, your girl’s favorite party, Peachfuzz, took over PAMM for a special edition of PAMM Third Thursdays: Poplife Social. The night’s theme was a “summer block party,” which guests celebrated with tasty bites, summer inspired art-making, and goodies like fans and beach hats. In the member’s lounge, guests were treated to drinks courtesy of Fi’lia and Becks. On the terrace, DJ DZA spun classic hip hop tracks that kept the crowd dancing all night long. Inside, the galleries stayed opened late, as guests took the chance to explore all of PAMM’s new exhibitions.

Pérez Art Museum Miami Exceeds $200,000 Matching Grant from Knight Foundation for PAMM Fund for African American Art

Today, Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) announced that it exceeded its $200,000 fundraising goal to match a challenge grant for the PAMM Fund for African American Art, a fund initiated for the purchase of contemporary art by African American artists for the museum’s permanent collection. Gifts by 160 supporters helped PAMM exceed its goal by more than $7,000. The fund also gained 62 new Ambassador members, who will continue to help shape the institution’s collection of contemporary art by African American artists and support the fund’s inclusive nature.
PAMM Inside|Out Joined Surfside Residents for their August First Friday Beach Event

On August 4, 2017 the PAMM Inside|Out team joined Surfside residents at their First Friday beach event. Guests enjoyed Bollywood-inspired live music by PAMM resident DJ, Phaxas, Inside|Out giveaways, postcard art-making, and tours of the works along the sandy beach path.
Cucuyo, Waterside Mobile Café

The latest edition to PAMM's dining program, STARR Catering Group introduces Cucuyo, a fusion of art and culinary expertise. Named after summer childhood memories of catching glowing click beetles in the backyard, the cocoon shaped café was designed by South Florida’s celebrated Berenblum Busch Architects (BBA) and manufactured by Amsterdam-based MX3D, using innovative 3D printing technology.
