This past Tuesday, members came out to PAMM to celebrate the Fourth of July with a night of festivities at the museum. Jolt Radio provided the perfect sounds for the celebration, while guests enjoyed art-making activities and special exhibition tours inside the galleries. At night, PAMM’s terrace was transformed into the perfect viewing spot for the beautiful firework show over Biscayne Bay.
Thanks to a grant from Bank of America, PAMM was able to begin restoring a sculpture by George Segal, which belongs to the museum's permanent collection.
With the opening of Spots, Dots, Pips, Tiles: An Exhibition About Dominoes, we are launching a social media campaign asking the public to share their memories of playing dominoes. We invite you to share a picture and/or a few thoughts about your first memories playing the game, your connection to the game and/or what it means to you. Make sure to tag your posts with #PAMMDomino @pamm. We will be choosing some of our favorite posts to be featured on PAMM’s social networks and some lucky winners will receive their very own domino sets.
Our first entry is from the show’s curator María Elena Ortiz

Jo Mersa Marley kept the crowd dancing on the waterfront terrace, while guests enjoyed cocktails from Verde and got creative with exhibition inspired art-making. In the member’s lounge, PAMM held its New Member Summer Celebration with drinks courtesy of Beck's, Kim Crawford and SAAM by SLS Brickell. Inside, artists featured in the new exhibition, On the Horizon: Contemporary Cuban Art from the Jorge M. Pérez Collection, Yoan Capote and Antonia Wright, held an art talk about their work and unique practices.
Although she never met her grandfather John Dunkley, whose exhibition—Neither Day nor Night—is currently on view at PAMM, Tina Dunkley feels a deep and profound connection to the work he made during his lifetime.
