On Thursday, October 16, 2014, Benefactor members were invited to a private musical tour by GRAMMY® nominated vocal ensemble Seraphic Fire. The evening’s festivities began on the Northern Trust Terrace with delectable cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, and continued with a performance throughout the Pérez Art Museum Miami galleries, led by PAMM Director Thom Collins and Seraphic Fire Artistic Director Patrick Dupré Quigley.
On Thursday, October 16, 2014, avant-electronic musician Dutch E Germ played a live set inside the art collective Yemenwed’s new installation piece, titled EMPATHEATRE, at PAMM. The set featured compositions from his new album IN.RAK.DUST and visuals created by Yemenwed.
On Thursday, October 16, 2014, PAMM Contemporaries and National YoungArts Foundation members came together for a private cocktail reception on Pérez Art Museum Miami’s picturesque southeast terrace. Guests mingled as the sun set and enjoyed specialty cocktails by GREY GOOSE Vodka. Following the Mixer, guests headed to the Learning Theatre for PAMM PRESENTS: DUTCH E. GERM X YEMENWED.
On Thursday, October 9, 2014, museum visitors joined Geoffrey Farmer for an artist talk related to Let’s Make the Water Turn Black, his immersive, mechanical play of collaged sound recordings and kinetic sculptures.
On Wednesday, October 8, 2014, Museum Circle members were invited to join artists Nicole Cherubini and Geoffrey Farmer to toast the opening of Project Gallery: Nicole Cherubini and Geoffrey Farmer: Let’s Make the Water Turn Black.
