Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) hosted an exclusive preview of the Art of the Party, presented by Louis Vuitton, to unveil the design of the Supper Club dinner lounge – a modern twist on the traditional sit-down dinner for the next generation of Miami’s business, cultural and social tastemakers. Conceptualized by event mastermind Lee Brian Schrager, the Supper Club is expected to be the season’s most coveted ticket. Among those in attendance providing their seal of approval were Supper Club event chairs Kristin and Chapman Ducote, Rachel Furst, and Jon Paul Pérez.
Listen and download recordings produced for R.R. and the Expansion of the Tropics, an exhibition by Mario García Torres now on view at PAMM. These recordings are played intermittently throughout the show along the soundtrack of a film shot in Captiva Island, FL, and which only contains location sounds.
This winter, Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) will introduce a roster of innovative studio programs exploring contemporary issues in art and the creative making process. Held in PAMM’s Knight Education Center, these programs will be on select dates throughout the year. Participants will explore the museum’s collection and exhibitions as a resource to develop creative ways of thinking, new ways of seeing, self-expression and hands-on skills through art-making.
Prior to PAMM Presents Future Brown, Thom Collins, Director of PAMM, alongside Francisco Aristeguieta, CEO of Citi Latin America, began the evening with a private toast to all exhibiting artists on-view and part of the PAMM collection.
