Inside the auditorium, guests enjoyed an art talk by exhibition artists Carlos Garaicoa and Glexis Novoa, who discussed their work and its relation to the chapter’s theme of Domestic Anxieties. The evening culminated with a live performance by Cortadito, a traditional Cuban Son group that focuses on music of early Cuban origins, with salsa dancing underneath the stars.
