Students from the Overtown Afterschool program at Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) spent an afternoon at Omni Park, creating “pop-up" public art installations inspired by the works of artist Michael Loveland.
Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) welcomed more than 750 visitors for the opening of On the Horizon: Contemporary Cuban Art from the Jorge M. Pérez Collection, an exhibition showcasing a selection of works by Contemporary Cuban artists donated to the museum by philanthropist and renown collector Jorge M. Pérez—the majority from a recent gift of over 170 pieces, as well as works previously gifted to PAMM in 2012, and several recent acquisitions purchased with funds generously provided by Pérez.
On June 4, 2017, North Miami Beach community members were invited to experience a Breath of Fresh art through PAMM Inside|Out. Fifteen reproductions of works from the PAMM permanent collection can now be found around the city, bringing art to everday life.
