On Saturday, March 14, 2015, the PAMM Contemporaries trekked west to the Everglades for a special art crawl with AIRIE, an artist residency program in the Everglades. The Everglades has been a source of inspiration for many of Pérez Art Museum Miami's collection artists, including Christy Gast and Mark Dion.
On a breezy Thursday evening, Pérez Art Museum Miami Core Creative members converged on the bayfront home of patrons Valentina and Jeff Gutchess for dinner and cocktails. Vitrines displaying Haute Horlogerie from Vacheron Constantin sparkled against the backdrop of the home’s vibrant contemporary art.
In conjunction with the opening of Project Gallery: Gary Simmons, the artist discussed the newly commissioned, large-scale mural that he created for PAMM's double-height project gallery with PAMM curator René Morales.
