PAMM's Printapalooza

On September 10, 2016 families flocked to Pérez Art Museum Miami for a day of free admission and family fun. On the terrace, guests created art inspired by the mixed-media artwork of Robert Rauschenberg and Basquiat, whose exhibitions are currently on view at PAMM. Local printmakers set up several pop-up stations where guests printed their favorite patterns using different printmaking techniques. The event was included as part of Miami’s DWNTOWN Art Days.

#MyUnknownNotebook Social Media Challenge

Visit the Basquiat: The Unknown Notebooks interactive gallery at #PAMM and make your mark by contributing to our collaborative notebook project.

Come listen to a selection of music that inspired Basquiat and watch a documentary on his life. Then, use colored pencils and other materials to design your very own notebook page. Take a pic of your creation and share it on Instagram or Facebook using #MyUnknownNotebook.

At the end of the exhibition, all the pages will be turned into a digital notebook that will be shared on PAMM’s social networks.
