In anticipation of the World OUTGames, coming to Miami this May, PAMM and Equinox have joined together to bring a series of free workout classes to the museum. The classes are scheduled to take place on select Saturday mornings, where guests can burn up a sweat on PAMM’s breezy terrace overlooking the bay. Equinox instructors lead the classes, which will span across many workout styles, from intense cardio to the upcoming Warrior Flow yoga class.
At Fourth Annual Reception for the PAMM Fund for African American Art, Knight Foundation President and CEO Alberto Ibargüen announced an incredible opportunity for the Fund and the community of Miami-Dade: Knight Foundation has pledged to match gifts to the Fund for African American Art in the amount of $200,000.
On Thursday, February 16, were taken back in time at PAMM’s Third Thursdays: Poplife Social ‘80s Party. Guests came out in their best ‘80s gear to celebrate artist David Reed’s new exhibition, inspired by the color and drama of the TV classic, Miami Vice.
Last night at Pérez Art Museum Miami’s Fourth Annual Reception for the PAMM Fund for African American Art, Alberto Ibargüen, President and CEO of the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, announced a $200,000 matching grant to benefit the fund. This matching grant, active through August 21, 2017, will help encourage more supporters to come forward and enable PAMM to acquire world-class works by African American artists for generations to come.
