On Thursday, January 16, museum visitors listened to recording artist and live performer Laurel Halo by the moonlit bay. Taking influence from her Midwest roots, Halo has developed a singular sound, combining hardware pulse, ambiance and intricate sampling to address themes of physical process and virtual violence.

Every third Thursday of the month, PAMM brings together an eclectic range of internationally-acclaimed DJs and musicians for an outdoor music series on the terrace by the bay. This month PAMM Presents recording artist and live performer, Laurel Halo, from Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Visitors of all ages enjoyed art-making on the terrace while discovering the magic of cyanotypes, an early photographic process known as sunprints. Museum-goers also took part in a family-friendly tour highlighting photographs in the galleries.
