With the generous support of the Knight Foundation, Pérez Art Museum Miami fosters innovation in arts education for public schools through free museum visits, educator workshops and web resources.
The Knight Schools Program offers free buses and free museum admission to Miami-Dade County Public Schools. All museum tours are led by PAMM Teaching Artists and include lively discussions on modern and contemporary art. School tours are offered Monday through Friday mornings and encourage skills of the Common Core State Standards.
Admission fees are waived for high school classes visiting the museum and wanting to self-guide. Teachers must schedule their visit with the education department one week prior to receive this benefit. One chaperone is required for every 10 students.
