PAMM Teen Summer Art Intensive
Calling all explorers and creatives! Are you interested in exploring digital frontiers of augmented and virtual realities? We are now accepting applications for our 2018 Summer Teen Art Intensive: Mixed Reality. This year’s program will help teens explore the creative field of augmented reality. We will be accepting applicants from teens 13 to 18 years of age, at all skill levels.
Program Description: Join Miami artist Moises Sanabria for our 2018 Summer Teen Art Intensive: Mixed Reality workshop at the museum! During this five-day augmented reality workshop at the Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM), students of all skill levels will learn to use technology and creative strategies to conceptualize and make a mixed reality work of art. This multidisciplinary workshop is designed to explore contemporary art, technology, and human interactions with various forms of media. As teens explore and apply the use of emerging technologies in creative ways, they will also examine the shortcomings and challenges at the intersection of art, technology, and design.

PAMM Teen Workshops have been made possible by endowed funds granted by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation and Heckscher Foundation for Children to underwrite the museum’s broad portfolio of education programs. Together with leadership support from Miami-Dade County, these funders enable the museum to transform the lives of young people in our community through our art education programs.
