The Studio Program will provide hands-on arts education for audiences of all ages in the Pérez Art Museum Miami’s (PAMM) new facilities and help participants gain insight into the creative process.
The Studio Program will reflect the diverse range of materials, methods, ideas and innovations found in art today, making use of the collections and exhibitions, media lab and studio classrooms. Concepts for the classes will be developed by artists and PAMM educators and tailored to specific audiences.
This program will also expand upon existing opportunities at the Museum such as the PAMM Art Story Time, a program for pre-schoolers, and outreach programs that partner with social service organizations, such as the ongoing initiatives to serve the homeless and people with disabilities. Additionally, new weekend and evening classes for college students and adults and summer programs for youth will be offered.
