Book at private tour of Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) for a memorable and unique experience. PAMM’s professional guides are highly-qualified experts such as professors, art critics and practicing artists, who can tailor your tour based on your group’s interests.
Tour what has been described as “the jewel” in Pritzker Price winning architects Herzog & de Meuron’s portfolio. You will visit both the exterior and the interior of the building paying attention to its unique design and construction elements, its gardens as well as the materials employed and its flexible plan.
Routes of Influence
Routes of Influence consists of six thematic presentations of works from the permanent collection, positioned within the two adjacent galleries on this floor and in four galleries upstairs. Inspired by Miami’s position as a hub of diverse flows of people, ideas, and art histories, this exhibition juxtaposes artworks in a manner that maps how aesthetic concepts move fluidly across traditional, national or cultural lines, how “influence” in art is understood today as multi-directional, rather than linear in character.
This tour will introduce the visitor to the architecture of the museum and key works of art on view. Our guides start by exploring the museum’s architecture and hanging gardens, then bring the group inside to discuss key works form the collection and temporary exhibitions. This is our recommendation for first time visitors, giving guests an overview of all PAMM has to offer.

Latin American and Caribbean Art
With the Caribbean on our shores and the many local residents that come from those islands and Latin America, it is only natural that PAMM should make it a priority to collect and exhibit works by artists from that geographical region’s rich and varied artistic production. This tour will focus on artworks from the areas exhibited as part of the current presentation of our permanent collection and other temporary exhibitions.
PAMM is open until 9pm every Thursday. Following your private tour, enjoy PAMM's bayfront bar or make dinner reservations at Verde restaurant. Check our calendar for a robust schedule of lectures, performances and screenings.
