Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) is accepting applications from high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors for PAMM Teen Arts Council (PTAC). Members will help fulfill the museum's mission to improve the quality of life in Miami-Dade County through education and interaction with the art of today. Through apprenticeship, ambassadorship and art education, teen members will creatively interpret and respond to art to engage a local and global audience.

PAMM Teen Arts Council (PTAC) is an incubator for the future art community in South Florida. Members of PTAC develop interactive projects with new media for visitors to enjoy a teen perspective online and in the museum. Members of PTAC have access to a multimedia studio with up-to-date audio-visual technology and use documentation as a form of art-making. The museum is located on Biscayne Bay in Museum Park and provides a safe and fun environment for teens that is full of possibilities for self-exploration and learning.

PTAC members meet and learn from some of the best artists and cultural producers of our time! The program provides members with real-life experience and prepare them for future success. PTAC members also receive community service hours to strengthen their college applications and a modest stipend.

Members begin regular weekly meetings every September and close the year by hosting a public event in late May. As the yearly cycle ends, helping nominate the next group and planning activities for the coming year will be an important task. PTAC membership may be renewed based on performance during the previous year.
- PTAC meets 4 times a month every Wednesday from 3:30-6:30pm
- Occasional Saturdays and event days are required beyond regular meeting times
- PAMM takes all school calendars and transportation into consideration when programming
- PTAC members are expected to follow the rules and guidelines of the program, participate in weekly meetings and occasional events, fulfill solo and group responsibilities such as art assignments, journalistic essays in written, audio and video format and develop teen centered events
Teachers in their communities get an opportunity to nominate PTAC members to the program. Up to 15 high school students will be able to participate. After completing an application, selected nominees will interview for their positions. To apply for PTAC, candidates must meet these requirements:
- Be high school Sophomores, Juniors or Seniors
- Get nominated by a teacher
- Submit a completed application by the requested deadline
- There are no requirements in terms of specific technological or artistic skills, but students who prefer hands-on experience as a method of learning will benefit
