Past Event

As part of PAMM Free Second Saturdays, create artwork inspired by PAMM’s Fund for Black Art’s recent acquisition, Carrie Mae Weems’ The Blues, 2017. Celebrating March as Women’s History Month, museum guests are encouraged to create their own multi-piece work of art using wood coasters, tempera sticks, doilies and images of the special women in their lives. Also enjoy a special tour focusing on the women artists featured in PAMM’s galleries, provided by one of PAMM’s Teaching Artists. For the rest of the day, you can explore the galleries, grab a meal at Verde, or sit back and enjoy the breeze on the waterfront terrace.

Experience a day of artistic exploration with free admission throughout the day at Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM). From 11am to 3pm, engage in a variety of art activities designed to captivate and inspire. For a deeper understanding of the exhibits, join our guides for tours departing from the lobby at 12:30pm and 2pm.
