Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) invites you to celebrate International Women’s Month by helping close the gender gap in Wikipedia articles and entries on subjects related to gender, art, and feminism.

Together, we can improve the digital knowledge and visibility of female and gender nonconforming-identifying artists included in PAMM’s Caribbean Cultural Institute collection and exhibitions. For PAMM’s first public Art+Feminism Wikipedia Edit-a-thon, we are taking collective action to acknowledge the cultural diversity of Miami and beyond.  

Wi-Fi, reference materials from PAMM’s library, and complimentary refreshments will be provided. Please note that we encourage participants who are able to bring their own laptops and power cords as well as a reusable water bottle to help reduce waste. People of all gender identities and expressions are welcome and encouraged to attend, and no prior Wikipedia editing experience is required.
