Join us for the spring artwork showcase of our newly-launched Creative Aging Series. Creative Aging Series is a free art-making program for individuals over the age of 55 seeking a community-based creative outlet. The program consists of project-based workshops led by teaching artists, contemporary and modern art history, learning experiences, and a culminating public event to celebrate the participants’ work.

For this workshop series, we partnered with residents from Hialeah Housing Authority. Participants focused their time on creating two ceramic projects with teaching artist Carolina Cueva and assistant Marie Franco. They explored hand-building methods such as slab, coil, and sculpting, and painted their final fired pieces by hand.

Join our next series on April 20. Sign up on pamm.org/education.
This program is free and possible with the support of E. A Michaelson Philanthropy.
