Join us for another fun edition of PAMM Art Storytime inspired by our latest exhibition, Joan Didion: What She Means.

Excited young readers and their caregivers will enjoy a short museum tour including a photograph of author Joan Didion, taken by Brigitte Lacombe, and engage in the concept of building a narrative. Guests will then enjoy a reading of “Pierre” by Maurice Sendak, a book that explores interesting characters, settings, plots, and a moral lesson. Finally, young readers will create storyboards of their own.

Building on the foundations of literacy, 3-5 year-olds and their caregivers can enjoy a free storytime event every fourth Saturday of the month. Young learners can participate in a gallery tour facilitated by a PAMM teaching artist and an art-related storybook reading followed by a hands-on activity.
