Pérez Art Museum Miami celebrates Miami Art Week with its signature Thursday night event featuring headliner George Clinton. Throughout the evening, enjoy drinks, music by D.Luxe and CHARLIE SOUL CLAP, and dancing on the museum’s waterfront terrace. Inside the museum, explore PAMM’s newest exhibition—Gary Simmons: Public Enemy presented by Citi.

By invitation only. Open to PAMM Sustaining and above-level members and includes ONE GUEST. RSVP is required to gain entry to this event. If you reserved more than 2 tickets, your extra tickets will be cancelled and NOT be scannable at the door.

The event is also open to VIP pass holders to Art Basel Miami Beach, Art Miami + CONTEXT, Design Miami/, Nada Miami 2023, Pinta Miami, Red Dot Miami / Spectrum Miami, SCOPE Miami Beach 2023, and Untitled Art, Miami Beach 2023 (quantities are limited). About George Clinton
George Clinton is a musician, singer, bandleader, and record producer most known for his collective, Parliament-Funkadelic, which developed an influential and eclectic genre of funk music during the 1970s.  Clinton is also a visual artist and has a solo exhibition at Jupiter Contemporary from November 30, 2023–December 31, 2024. A selection of work will also be on view at Jeffrey Deitch’s booth at Art Basel.

He has had solo exhibitions at Jeffrey Deitch, Los Angeles; George Washington Carver Museum & Cultural Center, Austin; and The National Museum of African American Music, Nashville. His Mothership is on permanent display at the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture, and he is currently featured prominently throughout their Afrofuturism exhibition. He will have a solo exhibition at Savannah College of Art and Design Museum of Art next September. Spring McManus Art Advisory represents and manages George Clinton’s visual art practice.

About CHARLIE SOUL CLAP   
With over 20 years under his belt Charlie is still learning, still digging, and discovering our world through music. Born in Boston, transplanted to Brooklyn and now based in Miami, his adventures inside the Rave’s powerful cultural exchange have widened his eyes and sent him traveling to most corners of the globe where he has left his heartfelt mark. As a principal songwriter for Soul Clap, Charlie is devoted to following in the footsteps of those who have paved the way before him and continues to churn out thematic dance music that is routed in tradition but is eclectic, unexpected, and contemporary edging into the future.

With an unwavering commitment to her artistry, D.Luxe has spent over 10 years honing her craft, blending genres like house, funk, jazz, disco, soul, world music, and more into a harmonious fusion. Her meticulous selection and flawless mixing create a seamless flow, captivating audiences and building an electric connection with every crowd. Born in Sevilla, Spain, raised in Chicago (the home of House Music) and calling Barbados (W.I.) her home for 12 years, D.Luxe now finds herself residing in the vibrant city of Miami.
