Art Talk: Aruna D’Souza on Toba Khedoori

PAMM will welcome Aruna D’Souza, writer and advocate for all things art, museums, intersectional politics, food, books and feminism. D’Souza wrote Disorientations: The Paintings of Toba Khedoori for the catalogue Toba Khedoori on the occasion of her most recent traveling show and will speak on Khedoori’s work. Toba Khedoori will be on view at PAMM from April 21-September 24, 2017.

Aruna D’Souza is a writer whose work has appeared in 4Columns, Art News, The Wall Street Journal, Art in America and CNN.com. She is the author of numerous catalogue essays and has written and edited books including “Cézanne’s Bathers: Biography and the Erotics of Paint,” and the upcoming collection of the essays of Linda Nochlin.  

Organization and Support
Toba Khedoori was organized by the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, in collaboration with the Pérez Art Museum Miami. The exhibition is curated by PAMM Director Franklin Sirmans and is presented at PAMM by COMPAC, The Surfaces Company. Lead individual support received from Patricia and William Kleh with additional individual support from Anne Blackwell and Cornelius Bond.
