Hear American musician and producer Jellybean Benitez’s signature style that earned him DJ residency at New York’s Studio 54 in the 1970s. Enjoy happy hour drink and food specials and art-making and gallery scavenger hunts for prizes. Celebrate the opening of Project Gallery: Nicolas Lobo with an art talk and view new exhibition Iman Issa: Heritage Studies. Also enjoy delicious “Poetry Pops” as part of O, Miami Poetry Festival.

PAMM partners with Poplife, masterminds behind Miami’s famously sought-after and sold-out independent acts, to host PAMM Third Thursdays: Poplife Social, every third Thursday of the month through September, 6-9pm. Join the PAMM Contemporaries and get exclusive access to their lounge and enjoy complimentary cocktails.

About Jellybean Benitez
Jellybean Benitez began his love for music in the South Bronx of New York City. Touting a 40-year career in the music industry, Jellybean is the remix genius behind Madonna’s first-album hits ‘Everyday,’ ‘Lucky Star,’ and ‘Borderline,’ and tracks by artists the likes of Michael Jackson, Paul McCartney, Whitney Houston, Fleetwood Mac, Billy Joel and The Pointer Sisters.

About “Poetry Pops”
Created by Randy Burman, “Poetry Pops” combines the best two things in the world: poetry and ice cream. Throughout April, look for Shel Shiverstein (played by Randy Garcia) at your favorite Miami events and locations. The “Poetry Pop” salesman will be giving away strawberry and mango flavored popsicles. Each wrapper has two original poems locally-sourced from over forty poets.
