This Black History Month, join us at Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) to honor the creativity, resilience, and contributions of Black artists. As part of PAMM Free Second Saturdays, immerse yourself in a day of art-making, exploration, and inspiration.

Families will collaborate on vibrant, meaningful artworks inspired by British painter Hurvin Anderson, whose practice explores memory, identity, and space. Anderson’s monumental, 16-panel painting is currently on view at PAMM, alongside other works that delve into richly textured landscapes, interiors, and portraits. Guided by his use of grids and layering, participants will design their own landscapes or interiors that reflect personal or family stories.
