In this professional learning workshop inspired by Get in the Game: Sports, Arts, Culture, explore the connections between contemporary art and sports culture. Together, we will investigate the expansive exhibition, ranging from interactive installations, paintings, sculptures, photography, and fashion that highlight the critical role sports play in shaping American culture.

Guided by PAMM teaching artists, participate in an inquiry-driven exploration of a selection of works from Get in the Game. Through play, discussion, and other hands-on learning opportunities, immerse yourself in the fun and joy as well as the complex social and historical elements of sports culture highlighted in the exhibition. Then, engage in an engaging artmaking workshop that draws inspiration from sports and games.
All K-12 educators, including teachers and paraprofessionals, museum professionals, and other informal educators, are welcome to attend. Light breakfast, lunch, and free parking will be provided for all participants. For updates to any workshop details, please check pamm.org/events.
