Get ready for a morning of stories, colors, and creativity at PAMM Art Storytime! Inspired by the playful, number-based artwork of Frank Stella, this session invites Pre-K students and their caregivers to explore art and imagination together.

We’ll start with a short, engaging museum tour where little ones can share what they see and dream up their own ideas. Then, gather around to read “One Was Johnny” (A Book of Counting) by Maurice Sendak, a delightful tale that makes numbers come alive.

After story time, it’s time to get hands on! Families will create bright, math-inspired sculptural artworks using a mix of fun materials. Experiment with color, pattern, and shape as you design your own masterpiece on a special canvas—perfect for curious minds who love to play and create.

Organization and Support
PAMM Art Storytime is made possible by support from The Israel, Rose, Henry & Robert Wiener Charitable Foundation, The Edward C. Fogg, III and Lisbeth A. Fogg Charitable Trust, and by endowed funds granted by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation and Heckscher Foundation for Children to underwrite the museum’s broad portfolio of education programs. Together with leadership support from Miami-Dade County, these funders enable the museum to transform the lives of young people in our community through our art education programs.
