Join us for another fun edition of PAMM Art Storytime, inspired by the vibrant, color-filled work of artist Sam Gilliam.

Pre-K students and their caregivers will enjoy a brief, interactive museum tour that encourages observation, imagination, and early literacy skills. The program includes a reading of “Black Is a Rainbow Color” by Angela Joy, illustrated by Ekua Holmes, followed by a hands-on art activity where families will create layered designs using a variety of materials to explore color, creativity, and culture together.
Organization and Support
PAMM Art Storytime is made possible by support from the Israel Rose Henry and Robert Wiener Charitable Foundation, Inc., and by endowed funds granted by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation and Heckscher Foundation for Children to underwrite the museum’s broad portfolio of education programs. Together with leadership support from Miami-Dade County, these funders enable the museum to transform the lives of young people in our community through our art education programs.
