About the PAMM Fund for African American Art: The PAMM Fund for African American Art builds on PAMM’s long-standing commitment to exhibiting and collecting work by African American artists. It was initiated by a $1 million grant, funded equally by Jorge M. Pérez and the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation. The museum hopes to raise additional funds to support a multi-year initiative to purchase significant works by African American artists for PAMM’s permanent collection.
