Blog: Winter Music Conference Kicks Off Early at PAMM

On March 20, PAMM kicks off  Winter Music Conference early with live performances by vocal musicians Stine Janvin Motland and C. Spencer Yeh and Brooklyn-based duo Gatekeeper.

Start the night off with a live vocal performance by Stine Janvin Motland and C. Spencer Yeh at 7pm. These established experimental musicians draw from an expanding palette of innovative sounds. They instrumentalize breath, mouth and vocal chords to engage the physicality, variation and sensuousness of the non-lyrical voice. Improvising and composing, they use the voice as a sound-making device that lies outside of traditional modes of singing.

After the vocal performance, PAMM presents a live set by Gatekeeper as part of the Museum's third Thursday music series. The Brooklyn-based duo is inspired by the sounds and visions of forgotten b-movie film scores, classic fantasy games and lurid arcade imagery. Following their set at PAMM, make it a late night and join Gatekeeper at Bardot (3456 N Miami Ave., Miami, FL 33127) for an after party. Entrance at Bardot is free with your PAMM admission button.
