Blog: PAMM Kicked Off Caribbean-American Heritage Month with Lauderhill Steel Ensemble

On Thursday, June 5, Pérez Art Museum Miami celebrated Caribbean-American Heritage Month with a free concert by Lauderhill Steel Ensemble, who presented a preview of their upcoming Colors of the Caribbean Festival performance.

The evening, hosted by Channel 10 News’ Neki Mohan, was attended by more than 600 visitors who danced underneath the stars, enjoyed Caribbean themed food and libations by Stephen STARR Events, and toured PAMM’s Caribbean focused exhibitions, Caribbean: Crossroads of the World and Edouard Duval-Carrié: Imagined Landscapes.
