Blog: North Miami Beach Experiences a Breath of Fresh Art

On June 4, 2017, North Miami Beach community members were invited to experience a Breath of Fresh art through PAMM Inside|Out. Fifteen reproductions of works from the PAMM permanent collection can now be found around the city, bringing art to everday life.

In collaboration with their Summer Reading Kick-off, residents were invited to North Miami Beach Library to celebrate the launch of the program in the City of North Miami Beach. Participants were welcomed with live music by Phaxas, and given Inside|Out summer essentials to prepare them for the summer season of Inside|Out. As the rain began to ease, PAMM Teaching Artist, Alex Zastera, led the group on a walking tour of the works installed along the Snake Creek Trial. The group engaged in conversations about the works and the importance that the community plays in this program. Participants were also encouraged to create their own work of art on Inside I Out postcards. The works are on view in North Miami Beach through the end of August. Be sure to visit them to experience your very own Breath of Fresh Art!
