Pérez Art Museum Miami finally moved the last of its belongings – a Fernand Léger sculpture – from its former location at the Cultural Center Plaza. In order to de-install the sculpture, Flagler Street was closed and the work was craned over the building and lowered into a large custom crate.

Seven of Miami’s art museums joined forces to create the Miami Art Museums Alliance (MAMA). With a common goal to ensure that museums are both part of the life of all Miami-Dade residents and visitors, the alliance created a joint passport program with opportunities to win VIP prizes and art experiences- including passes to Miami's hottest art fairs during Miami Art Week in December 2014.
