Join Pérez Art Museum Miami at the Second Annual West End Art Fair. Follow the Inside|Out map of reproductions from Pérez Art Museum Miami’s permanent collection installed around Olympic Park (and Hammocks Community Park, too). Find an image by Gene Davis titled Pepper Pot and be inspired to create your own jazzy art with a PAMM teaching artist. Bike tour begins at 2pm and participants must bring their own bikes.
About Inside | Out
This winter, Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) will launch PAMM Inside|Out, a program funded by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation that brings high-quality reproductions of art from PAMM’s permanent collection to outdoor venues. The nine-month program will kick off in the Miami-Dade County communities of Hialeah, Homestead and West End with a calendar of related events and programs, including a community weekend at the museum on Labor Day weekend, September 3-5, 2016.
Hammocks Community Park and Olympic Park will be the PAMM Inside|Out hubs in West End, with 10 reproductions on view throughout the beautiful parks. Located within blocks of each other, visitors are encouraged to follow the Inside|Out map and bicycle to each of the reproduced works installed among the parks’ lush landscape. This presentation was made possible in collaboration with County Commissioner Juan C. Zapata, District 11.
