In honor of Black History Month, join us for art-making inspired by artist, Lynette Yiadom-Boakye. Create scratch paper and carve your own layered portrait by combining memory and color. Winds of Heritage Dance Company will present Colors, choreographed by Eulyce Eason, co-artistic director for WOH.
The Winds of Heritage Dance Company is the apprenticeship dance program for the African Heritage Cultural Arts Center. WOH is a platform for aspiring young dancers to explore their artistic development. It provides pre-professional training, mentoring, workshops, personal development, and performance opportunities for dancers ages 7-16.
