Calling all explorers and creatives! Are you interested in exploring digital frontiers of augmented and virtual realities?
Join Miami based artists Moises Sanabria and Eddie Negron of the new media collective ART404 for our 2018 Summer Teen Art Intensive: Mixed Realities. During this five-day augmented reality workshop at Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM), students of all skill levels will learn to use technology and creative strategies to conceptualize and make a mixed reality work of art.
This multidisciplinary workshop is designed to explore contemporary art, technology, and human interactions with various forms of media. As teens explore and apply the use of emerging technologies in creative ways, they will also examine the shortcomings and challenges at the intersection of art, technology, and design.
The one-week teen intensive workshop is $40 for members and $60 for non-members, and includes lunch and snacks. Economic hardship scholarships are available. Please complete the scholarship section at the bottom of the form.
ART404 is a group of critical creatives based in Miami/New York making conceptual works in the form of sculpture, software, installations, and performance. Their work examines emerging technologies and internet and meme culture often creating surreal depictions of current and future trends.
