Calendar: PAMM Free Second Saturdays: Imagining the Future
Event Description
In our latest exhibition, The Other Side of Now: Foresight in Contemporary Caribbean Art, artists were asked to explore one question: What might a Caribbean future look like? Artist Charles Campbell's work Maroonscape 1: Cockpit Archipelago sees the Cockpit Country of his native Jamaica as a city of the future—a place of resourcefulness, imagination, and community spirit. Explore different materials to imagine and create your community of the future!
PAMM Free Second Saturdays are made possible by presenting sponsorship support from Publix Super Market Charities, The Edward C. Fogg, III and Lisbeth A. Fogg Charitable Trust, and by endowed funds granted by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation and Heckscher Foundation for Children to underwrite the museum’s broad portfolio of education programs. Together with leadership support from Miami-Dade County, these funders enable the museum to transform the lives of young people in our community through our art education programs.
