Calendar: National Teacher Appreciation Week at PAMM

Event Description

Spend National Teacher Appreciation Week, May 1–9, at Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM)! As the largest arts education program outside of Miami-Dade County Public Schools and P.S. 305 partner, PAMM always puts education at the forefront and celebrates teachers.

At the museum, teachers enjoy free admission year-round. For this special week, we are treating teachers to a complimentary drink of prosecco or a delicious homemade baked dessert at our award-winning restaurant Verde. For those who want to dine at Verde, we are also offering a 10% discount off a meal as we celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week.*

Online at the Digital Museum, get creative with our latest #PAMMDIY video featuring local educator Natasha Jones. PAMM Teaching Artist Janessa and Jones will create art inspired by special exhibition Allied with Power: African and African Diaspora Art from the Jorge M. Pérez Collection. Jones teaches 2nd-5th graders in a self-contained classroom for students with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) at Orange Brook Elementary School, in Broward County.

Curious about what else PAMM provides for teachers? Check out our resources and Knight Schools program.
