Calendar: Miami Light Project’s ScreenDance Miami Festival 2022

Event Description

Join Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) and Miami Light Project for the ninth year of the ScreenDance Miami Festival. ScreenDance Miami is an annual celebration of the best in dance on film from Miami and from around the world, and includes skill-developing workshops, filmmaker spotlights, and screenings. PAMM will host the Festival’s Open Call Official Selections featuring short format Films from Miami and Films From Abroad.

About ScreenDance Miami
Awarded Best Festival in Miami New Times, ScreenDance Miami offers film screenings, skill-developing workshops, conversations and panel discussions. The 2022 edition of ScreenDance Miami features 27 films from South Florida and from across the globe – including four feature length films that acknowledge extraordinary works by inspiring and influential dancers as well as 23 short films selected from the official ScreenDance Miami open call. ScreenDance Miami Festival has been created to support professionals in this field and the development of dance created for the camera. ScreenDance Miami was created and developed by Tigertail Productions and is directed for Miami Light Project by Pioneer Winter.
