Apply today to our Fall Creative Aging workshop series starting November 9th! Designed for adults 55 and better searching for a community-based creative outlet, this workshop series gives you the opportunity to connect and create with local Miami teaching artists, immerse yourself in an art medium, and use our museum’s collection to inspire you.

This series will offer fun and challenging studio art courses during the span of 6-8 weeks, art tours led by professional teaching artists, and a final culminating public event to celebrate your final projects.

This fall segment will focus on textiles – with a focus on natural dying and hand/machine sewing and quilting – with teaching artists Diana Eusebio and Becca McCharen, assistant Marie Franco, and gallery guide Thom Wheeler Castillo.

Programming will run from November 9th through December 11th and will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the museum from 2 – 5 p.m. Our culminating event will be on Sunday, December 17th.

Please see the detailed dates below:
Week 1: Orientation – November 9th
