Students learned sewing machine and hand sewing techniques and constructed collective and personal quilts made from their own upcycled fabrics under the guidance of Miami-based artist Bex McCharen.

The Creative Aging Series is a free art-making program designed for adults 55+ seeking a supportive, community-based creative outlet.
