Join us for a free day of tours, interactive presentations, performances, food, swag bags, art-making workshops, mindfulness workshops, and live music!

Design created by PTAC member Julian Henriquez.

Connect with teens from Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM), Museum of Contemporary Art North Miami (MOCA), and other South Florida institutions to learn how young people nurture their creativity and elevate their voices through teen programs at local museums and community organizations. Participate in a tour led by the PAMM Teen Arts Council (PTAC), hear from teen ambassadors about their programs, attend multiple live performances, create art in an intergenerational space facilitated by MOCA Teens, and attend a mindfulness workshop for teens and an art therapy session for teachers.

Gallery Tours
PAMM Teen Arts Council ambassadors will share their favorite highlights using the inquiry-driven approach at the heart of youth tours at PAMM. Engage in deep discussion about modern and contemporary art and explore the art, issues, and ideas that matter most to our young people.

Teen Panel
Teen ambassadors from PAMM, MOCA, and more will share what it means to be a teen in these spaces. Hear about how each of these programs and institutions shapes them. Learn how you or your students can connect to these transformative out-of-school time opportunities.

Art Making
MOCA teens will lead an intergenerational art workshop. Flex your artistic muscles as teens teach you art-making techniques you can implement in your classroom or on your own.

Workshops
Finish the day with an improv workshop hosted by Villain Theater catered specifically for teens while teachers attend an equally engaging art therapy workshop

Music and Performances
Enjoy a variety of live music and performances throughout the day.

Open to Middle and High School teens and educators in all subject areas.

Support
Knight School Programs have been made possible by endowed funds granted by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation and Heckscher Foundation for Children, and The Edward C. Fogg, III and Lisbeth A. Fogg Charitable Trust and Anthony R. Abraham Foundation to underwrite the museum’s broad portfolio of education programs. Together with leadership support from Miami-Dade County, these funders enable the museum to transform the lives of young people in our community through our art education programs.
