About Aura the BandAura the Band is a Miami soul, rock outfit. By blending their different styles of music, they have created a unique rock, blues, folk, and alternative fusion sound accompanied by soulful vocals and melodic riffs. Fronted by Aura Peralta on vocals and rhythm guitar, her varied range of influences—from Janis Joplin to Billie Holiday—is heard throughout their first EP release entitled “Aura.” Tiago Rivieri, a Brazilian native, is in charge of those tasteful guitar licks and the other half of the songwriting process. The last addition, bringing in those lows on his upright bass, is Jonathan Ingram. This has shifted their sound to a more organic tone. Influenced not just by their favorite musicians, but also by their Latin heritage, their roots are ever present in their music. Their mission is to put into music, what they cannot put into words.
