Join us for an edition of PAMM Art Storytime inspired by our exhibition, Marcela Cantúaria: The South American Dream.

Excited young readers and their caregivers will enjoy a short museum tour where they will learn how Marcela Cantúaria’s work encourages visitors to find new ways to protect the natural environment that surrounds them. Visitors will then enjoy reading My Friend Earth, written by Patricia MacLachlan and Illustrated by David Diaz and Francesca Sanna. Finally, guests will create a work of art inspired by nature through their own cultural lenses.

Building on the foundations of literacy, 3-5 year-olds and their caregivers can enjoy a free storytime event every fourth Saturday of the month. Young learners can participate in a gallery tour facilitated by a PAMM teaching artist and an art-related storybook reading followed by a hands-on activity.
