Join us for another fun edition of PAMM Art Storytime inspired by the child-like expressions of Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) collection artist Cy Twombly.

Pre-K students and their caregivers will enjoy a brief, interactive museum tour that encourages observation, imagination, and early literacy skills. The program includes a reading of “The Hungry Caterpiller” by Eric Carl. This book is about a caterpillar’s journey through its ecosystem and the food it finds along the way.
After following our favorite caterpillar through his ecosystem, it’s time to get messy with a hands-on art project. You and your child will work together to create “Twombly-style” art by scribbling colorful caterpillar trails and collaging your own hungry caterpillars and their favorite snacks right onto the page.
We’ll also be joined by our special guests from Pelican Harbor Seabird Station, who will share the important work they do caring for Florida’s native wildlife. They’ll even bring along a few small animal friends for gentle petting and close‑up learning.
