Outside on the waterfront terrace, families and kids of all ages can enjoy a hands-on art-making activity inspired by Fábulas (Mariposas y Flores), a colorful painting by Argentinian artist Ad Minoliti, on view in our galleries. Discover the vibrant tradition of abstract painting in Latin American art while creating your own masterpiece to take home.

Throughout the day, enjoy live music and dance performances. Sumaj Tusuy, a Peruvian dance group, will share vibrant traditional dances from the country’s three major regions—the Coast, the Highlands, and the Jungle. San Juan USA, a Venezuelan music and dance group, will fill the air with the powerful rhythms of their high-energy drumming. Jump in and dance along to practice your own moves.

Inside the galleries, Miami-based artist Aurora Molina will lead an interactive workshop where guests can help weave an enormous colorful loom. Her work focuses on the preservation and exploration of traditional fiber, textile, and cloth-based art.

Admission is free all day. Art activities from 11am–3pm (while supplies last).

Oganization and Support
PAMM Free Second Saturdays are made possible with support from The Edward C. Fogg, III and Lisbeth A. Fogg Charitable Trust, Miami Downtown Development Authority, Publix Super Market Charities, and PNC. Endowed funds granted by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation and Heckscher Foundation for Children underwrite the museum’s broad portfolio of education programs. Together with leadership support from Miami-Dade County, these funders enable the museum to transform the lives of young people in our community through our art education programs.
