About the Film Cette Maison Tessa, a teenage girl of Haitian descent, is found hanged in her room. While everything points to suicide, the autopsy report reveals something else. Ten years later, Tessa’s cousin, the filmmaker Miryam Charles, examines the past causes and future consequences of this unsolved crime. Like an imagined autobiography, Cette Maison gives voice to a young woman no longer able to speak for herself. Filmmaker Miryam Charles will be in attendance.
